In Tijuana, one of the most exciting Clausura 2023 Liga MX Tournament matches was played. In the end, the Xolos tied Toluca on matchday 12 of the regular tournament after an epic comeback that, for many, was practically impossible. The Diablos Rojos’ unexpected 0-3 halftime lead was followed by a thrilling 3-3 draw on their trip across the border, as they could not hold on to their lead.
Argentine Lucas Rodríguez scored in the 48th minute, followed by Carlos Valenzuela in the 58th minute, and Canadian attacker Lucas Cavallini, who equalized in the 77th minute.
Colombian Brayan Angulo and Uruguayan Maximiliano Araujo scored three goals for Toluca in the first half, in the 35th and 22nd, and 24th minutes, respectively.

Rafa Puente Jr.’s unsustainable project and Pumas’ debacle continue. On Sunday, the felines were defeated by Pachuca, who took all three points with a 2-0 win.
Although it looked like a tough match against the reigning champions of Mexican soccer, Pumas ultimately gave up when Gustavo del Prete was sent off after 30 minutes for a foul on Erick Sánchez.

The twelfth round of the Clausura 2023 Mexican soccer tournament kicked off last Friday at the Cuauhtémoc stadium with a 4-0 Atlas victory over Puebla.
In the 5th minute, Uruguayan Brian Lozano converted a free kick from more than 30 meters to give Atlas a 1-0 lead. Colombian Julián Quiñones made it 2-0 with a magnificent scissors kick in the 16th minute. On the other hand, Uruguayan Gastón Silva scored an own goal in the 51st minute to make it 3-0.
In the 69th minute, Lozano again scored from a free kick, placing the ball into the upper right corner of the goal from near the left edge of the box.
With this result, Atlas ended a 10-game winless streak and increased its point total to 12. Meanwhile, Puebla kept its point total at 13.
