O Miami Heat are in their best moment of the season, and that moment coincides right with the race to finish this regular round in first place in the Conferência Leste. With a convincing victory and a relentless defense over the Philadelphia 76ers, they showed that they are one of the best teams in the league and, leaving the Seis exposed, who fell without arguments 99-82.

Miami manages to get more and more advantage over its rivals in the Leste. And today they had played the first of 7 games that they will play consecutively at home.

Those 7 home games can leave the Aquecer with an outstanding lead over their closest rivals. Although, indeed, victory cannot be claimed, since they are professional teams and anyone can win. But the truth is that in those 7 games they will have rivals like Rockets, Pistons, or Thunder. Teams that have not played well this season.

O jogo começou com Miami Heat jogando um jogo que beira a perfeição. A parte do primeiro quarto foi 22-14, favorável ao Heat, com Jimmy Butler scoring 10 points, while the 76ers tive Joel Embiid who scored 6 points.

No segundo trimestre, o Seis managed to react by scoring 26 points thanks to Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey, who scored 9 and 7 points respectively. While the Heat’s defense continued to contain the Sixers’ attacks excellently, Philadelphia’s team play was able to work well.

Despite this, the Aquecer managed to continue displaying a spectacular offensive game and, this time with Tyler Herro as a figure, they managed to go into the break with a 54-40 lead.

O Miami Heat continued their relentless offense in this third quarter and even had a 20-point lead in this quarter. But, due to the 7 turnovers they had in this quarter, they allowed the Seis to get back into the game and, they entered the last quarter with a lead of only 5 points.

They were only five points ahead going into the final 12 minutes, but their defense was the key down the stretch to their 11th win in the last 13 games.

O Seis finished with 82 points in the game on just 34% of their shots. They made a horrendous 7 of 41 from the three-point shot.
