Los Angeles enters 2026 as the betting favorite to win Super Bowl LXI, and the roster justifies it. McVay has managed camp reps carefully across the roster. If both are available in September, this is a top-tier line.

Garrett changes everything about this front. Both teams finished 12-5 last season and both were eliminated by Seattle. This is a rivalry game with real seeding stakes disguised as an exhibition of the league’s global ambitions.
The total is the honest read on this matchup. McVay and Kyle Shanahan have produced an 11-8 over record head to head since 2017, including a 5-1 run over the past three years. Add an open-air venue, a 17-hour time difference and two of the best play callers in football, and 48.5 looks reachable. The Rams’ new defensive pieces get an immediate test against the one offense that has consistently solved them.

Expect a deep run, with the ceiling defined by whether Stafford is standing in January.
