The United States Baseball World Series has defined its participants, the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, two teams that were not among the candidates to take top honors in MLB.
The Texas Rangers pulled off the upset and managed to eliminate in a seven-game series the Houston Astros, who were the reigning champions of baseball in the United States.
