Why Bet on Flamengo?

The locals Flamengo started with a nerve-racking victory in the final seconds of the game. Now, the team looks to keep its momentum going and be more convincing in front of its crowd.

The Fla has been one of the top teams in most of the latest seasons of the Brasileirão, winning in the 2020-21 season and landing 2nd place, 5th place, and 4th place in the following seasons. In that span, they have also been a club to fear in the Libertadores.

They are keeping things at the regular, taking the 3rd place at the start of the season, and now it is up to them to keep it going as they play at home to receive a team who, in recent records, shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

Why Bet on São Paulo?

São Paulo stars this season with high hopes. In the league, they have not been convincing lately, fighting against relegation for some seasons. However, in the cup competitions, they have been more solid, reaching a Copa Sudamericana final and winning the Brazilian Cup the last two seasons. They have a decent squad but started on the wrong foot again with a loss at home.

In the Paulista tournament, they fell in the quarterfinals against Novorizontino on penalties, while in the Libertadores, they also fell in their debut as visitors against Talleres. However, they recovered at home against Cobresal.

Indeed, they have not been lucky in their schedule, having to face strong teams in the first weeks of the campaign, but suffering another loss would leave them in a very harsh position early in the tournament.

Betting Analysis: Flamengo vs. São Paulo

We have not much else to add right here, as things are simple:

The Fla is a team that consistently achieves successful seasons. Meanwhile, São Paulo has been on the bottom half of the board consistently in the last three years, as they were placed 4th in the one year where the locals were champions.

With that in mind, we can only expect things to go their usual route, so we are placing our betting token on Flamengo to get a 3-1 win.

Go for a victory for the locals at 1.61. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $61 for a total payout of $161.
