Why Bet on Stuttgart?

Since their league title almost a couple of decades ago, Stuttgart became accustomed to being a midtable side that fights to evade relegation (sometimes failing). Luckily, contrary to other historic teams like Hamburg, Nuremberg, and Schalke, they deal well with their adventures in the Bundesliga 2.

In the most recent matchday, the ‘Die Roten’ beat Werder Bremen 2-0, thanks to goals from their two strikers, German Deniz Undav and Guinean Serhou Guirassy.

The last three matches of this team have ended with victories, beating Dortmund, Frankfurt, and finally Bremen. That is why they are third with 30 points, five points off the top in Germany.

Stuttgart at home has been a team to be feared since they have won six of the seven matches they have played. The only opponent to beat them in front of their home crowd was Hoffenheim.

This team relies heavily on the form of Guirassy. When he scores, the team wins. Only once has a goal from the African not been enough to win, and it was in the 5-1 defeat against Leipzig. With 16 goals in 11 games, he is second on the top-scorer table, just two behind Harry Kane.

And, curiously, the only time the ‘Die Roten’ lost two league games in a row was when the 27-year-old was injured.

Coach Sebastian Hoeness has several players out injured: Lilian Egloff, Hiroki Ito, Roberto Massimo, and Nikolas Nartey.

Why Bet on Bayer Leverkusen?

Last season, Bayer Leverkusen had a great upturn from a relegation battle to qualification for the Europa League. However, this season, they are aiming for the big time.

Their last match ended in a 1-1 draw against Dortmund. Julian Ryerson gave Borussia the lead, while in the 79th minute, Nigerian Victor Boniface sealed the points.

There is no doubt that Leverkusen is the best-performing team in Germany, with 35 points from 11 wins and only two draws. But it’s not just numbers, this is a team that attacks and defends at a high level.

Bayer is a great away team, having taken 16 points out of a possible 18, scoring 16 goals and allowing only five. They have won their last three away matches.

Boniface is Xabi Alonso’s top scorer, with eight goals and five assists. But Spain’s Alejandro Grimaldo is also worth mentioning, with seven goals and four assists, he’s a very dangerous player with a dangerous kick in his left foot.

Leverkusen’s only injured player is young Brazilian defender Arthur.

Final Betting Analysis: Stuttgart vs. Bayer Leverkusen

Stuttgart has been raising its level and is already third in the Bundesliga, but Bayer Leverkusen has been a steamroller all season, so it will give a blow on the table getting the three points.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Bayer Leverkusen as the favorites. The Moneyline for them shows +125, while Stuttgart has +205, and the draw is at +295.

Last season, the meeting between these two teams at the MHP Arena ended 1-1.
