Why Bet on Chivas?

Chivas has been a very irregular team in this semester of Mexican soccer. They won their first three games but later were unable to string together more than two wins in a row.

After their 1-0 loss to Pumas on the last matchday, Guadalajara dropped to fifth place with 27 points, with eight wins, three draws, and six defeats. However, they were able to advance directly to the quarterfinals.

Chivas was not a great home team, scoring 15 points out of 27, and won only two of its last five matches at the Akron stadium.

Among the teams that qualified, the ‘RebaΓ±o’ was the worst offensively, scoring only 22 goals. They conceded the same number of goals. Their best scorer was Roberto Alvarado, who scored six goals and provided an assist.

But there is one point that cannot be left unmentioned, they are the current runner-ups of the tournament, so they know how to sort this phase.

With ligament injuries, José Juan Macías and Carlos Cisneros are the casualties of the team coached by Serbian Veljko Paunović.

Why Bet on Pumas?

Pumas needed to win the last three matches to avoid the Play-In and did so, finishing fourth with 28 points after eight victories, four draws, and five losses.

The ‘Felinos’ closed the first phase with a 1-0 win over Chivas with a goal by Gabriel FernΓ‘ndez in the 11th minute. They were able to hold on to the result and showed why they are one of the best defenses in the Mexican championship.

In 17 matches they conceded 18 goals, only Club AmΓ©rica and Rayados de Monterrey had better numbers at the back this semester.

In addition, the ‘Universitario’ team, which scored 27 goals, has one of the top goal scorers in the league, as CΓ©sar Huerta scored on eight occasions, providing two assists.

Pumas were a decent visitor, winning three of their nine games. They conceded as many goals as they scored, with 13.

Antonio Mohamed will count on all his players for the visit to Chivas.

Final Betting Analysis: Chivas vs. Pumas

19 titles face each other in a great Liga MX series that begins at the Chivas’ stadium. Although the favorite to advance is Pumas, the first leg will be for the ‘RebaΓ±o’, who will make their home ground respected in front of their fans.Β

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Chivas as the favorites, as the Moneyline for them shows +110. Meanwhile, Pumas have +225, and the draw is at +254.

The last time these teams played at Akron Stadium, Chivas won 3-1, thanks to goals from JesΓΊs Orozco, Alexis Vega, and Gil AlcalÑ’s own goal.

Go for a win in Chivas’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at +110, you will gain $110 for a total payout of $210.
