Why bet on Toluca?

Toluca has had an irregular season, as they lost their last game, but had gone four matches without losing before that. However, they tied in three of them. Despite this, they are in a position that gives them access to the Liguilla Playoffs.

The ‘Diablos’ lost 1-0 in their last game, which was away to León, which is why they are in eighth place with 18 points, two units away from the position that gives direct access to the quarterfinals of the Liga MX (from first to sixth).

However, the team coached by Ignacio Ambriz must improve their defensive performance in recent games, as they have not kept an unbeaten goal since September 3, but are the second-best defense in the competition (13).

Toluca has been able to win three times at home and was defeated only once, scoring 13 goals and conceding a total of seven. That is five matches in a row at the Nemesio Diez without defeat.

The only absentees from the team are forwards Robert Morales and Juan Domínguez, who are suspended. The latter is the club’s top scorer with four goals.

Why bet on San Luis?

Atlético San Luis was coming from two defeats in a row, it seemed that the recovery came last weekend when they beat Necaxa 4-0, but nothing is further from the truth for the team coached by Brazilian Gustavo Leal.

In the duel that was supposed to confirm that they had recovered, they ended up losing 3-2 to Juárez, with goals by Vitinha and Juan Manuel Sanabria taking a back seat. As a result, the team dropped to fourth place with 22 points.

The San Luis Potosí team has 28 goals scored, the second-best offense in the league, but its 18 goals against is the worst mark among the eight best teams in Liga MX.

In addition, Atlético San Luis is not a good away team, winning two of six games, conceding 12 goals, and scoring 10.

Final Betting Analysis: Toluca vs. San Luis

Atlético San Luis has been one of the best teams in the regular season, however, Toluca is one of the most important local teams in Liga MX and that’s why the win will end up in the hands of the ‘Diablos’, despite the crucial loss of Juan Domínguez up front.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Toluca as the favorite, as the Moneyline for them shows -105. Meanwhile, Atlético San Luis has +280, and the draw is at +245.

The last time the ‘Diablos’ and San Luis de Potosí met at the home of the former, the home side won 2-0, thanks to goals from Jean Meneses and Carlos González.

Go for a win in Toluca’s Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -105, you will gain $95 for a total payout of $195.
