Why Bet on Aston Villa?

Aston Villa is having a good season. They just beat Sheffield United 0-5 as visitors in the Premier League and took advantage of Tottenham’s draw to snatch fourth place with 46 points. So, in addition to still being in the fight for the title, they are earning their place in the next Champions League.

Since the arrival of Unai Emery in the middle of last season, the club has had an identity on the pitch and has shown good play. However, it was on a not-so-positive mini streak, after drawing two games without goals and losing at home to Newcastle (1-3). Precisely one of those draws was against Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge, in the first game of this series. Remember that in this tournament, until the fourth round, there are replay duels, which means that in case of a draw, a tie-breaker will be played at the other team’s stadium. If they tie again, they will go to extra time and penalties if necessary.

That day in London, the Villans played a good game, going from less to more with a great second half where they made Dorde Petrovic the star player. Striker Ollie Watkins is having a great season and will be the main man in charge of overcoming the Serbian goalkeeper’s resistance. He has two goals in the last two games, while he has scored 13 in all competitions.

Lucas Digne, Pau Torres, and Jhon Durán are among the injured, in addition to Tyrone Mings, who has been out since August 12, and Emiliano Buendía, who has not been able to play a single minute this season.

Why Bet on Chelsea?

Chelsea needs to save its season, and either the FA Cup or the EFL Cup could be the solution. The Blues are going through a complicated transition after the departure of Roman Abramovich, and they are not getting the results.

In the Premier League, they have two consecutive defeats against Liverpool (4-1) and Wolverhampton (2-4), conceding eight goals and dropping to 11th place with 31 points, far from the 51 of Liverpool, leader, and the 46 of Aston Villa, fourth.

Chelsea’s problem has been, more than the poor defensive level, that they have had an inconsistent and weak attack. Young Cole Palmer has had to carry the team on his shoulders and become the scorer, as Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson have not been able to do so. Christopher Nkunku, who arrived this season from Leipzig, had a nasty injury before the start of the campaign and returned at the end of December, playing a handful of minutes, although he was already able to start two games, and has responded with two goals.

The Londoners are a hospital and have up to eight players on the outside, where we highlight Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, Robert Sanchez, and Trevoh Chalobah.

Final Betting Analysis: Aston Villa vs. Chelsea

This will be the third time these two teams have met this season, where in addition to the FA Cup tie, Aston Villa managed to beat them 0-1 in the Premier League with a goal from Ollie Watkins. The Birmingham club has three games unbeaten in this series (two wins and a draw). However, the last time they played at Villa Park, Chelsea won by 0-2.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have Aston Villa as the favorite. The Moneyline for them shows 2.23, while Chelsea has 3.07, and the draw is at 3.6.

It will be a very attractive and close match, similar to last week’s, where the goalkeepers will have to work hard, but we believe that Aston Villa’s attacking power and home advantage will give them the upper hand. The final result will be a 2-0 for the locals.

Go for a win in Aston Villa’s Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 2.23, you will gain $123 for a total payout of $223.
