Why Bet on Brentford?
Brentford had an excellent last season and, surely, hoped to build on that, but injuries and suspensions have taken a toll on the team, to the point that they are currently relegation candidates. However, they recovered some ground after beating Wolves with goals from Christian Nørgaard and Ivan Toney.
That win moved them to 14th place in the table, six points clear of Everton, the last team to lose the category. It was their second in the last five games, numbers that are not so bad for a team of this size. The problem is that they lost the other matches, a couple after suffering comebacks.
There’s no doubt that the strong team from last season is still there, but we doubt we’ll see it again until next season. Notwithstanding, considering the rumors surrounding Toney’s future, it’s hard to tell.
