Why Bet on Newcastle?

Newcastle has not been able to reach the expected level this season, after last year’s qualification to the UEFA Champions League. Their ninth position speaks clearly of the team’s irregularity.

The previous league presentation of this team ended with a 4-2 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield. After that, the Magpies beat Sunderland 3-0 in the FA Cup. Newcastle has 29 points, the result of nine wins, two draws, and nine defeats. They have 39 goals scored, but their defense has allowed 29 goals.

However, Eddie Howe’s side has been a great home team throughout the campaign, taking 24 points out of a possible 30. They achieved a victory against Arsenal at home.

Their most dangerous player is the Swedish Alexander Isak, who has 13 goals this season, nine of them in the Premier League.

The Magpies are without their starting goalkeeper, Nick Pope, due to injury. Also out are defender Matt Targett, midfielders Elliot Anderson and Jacob Murphy, winger Harvey Barnes, and striker Callum Wilson.

Why Bet on Manchester City?

Manchester City is called to fight for the Premier League title, of which it is the defender. They are five points behind Liverpool but with one game in hand on the Reds. City has the best forward line in English soccer, with 45 goals, but its defense is the third best, surpassed by Liverpool and Arsenal.

The good news for manager Pep Guardiola is that his top player, Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, is back and will be able to lend a hand in the most important part of the campaign.

But if there is one player to watch, it is England winger Phil Foden, who has scored or assisted in five of his last six games. Argentinian attacker Julian Alvarez, who has six league goals to his name, is also a player to watch.

Currently injured for Manchester City are defender John Stones and striker Erling Haaland, who is the top scorer in the English competition with 14 goals.

The Citizens are unbeaten in eight games with seven wins, and have five victories in a row, scoring 17 goals and conceding just one to Everton in that period.

Final Betting Analysis: Newcastle vs. Manchester City

Manchester City’s last two visits to Newcastle’s home ended with a Magpie win (1-0) and a 3-3 draw. The last time the Citizens won was on December 19, 2021.

The numbers at 1XBET have Manchester City as the favorite. The Moneyline for them shows 1.62, while Newcastle has 5.60, and the draw is at 4.52.

This will probably be the best match of the weekend in the Premier League, as these are two clubs with arguments, despite the difference in the standings. Pep Guardiola’s team, which usually starts in January its comeback to win the local titles, will end up winning.

Go for a win in Manchester City’s Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 1.62, you will gain $62 for a total payout of $162.
