Juventus vs. Atalanta Preview and Free Pick

Two of the teams that had been on a great run in Serie A are now in the doldrums. Juventus and Atalanta play in Turin, both obliged to get the three points on Matchday 28.

The Bianconeri have just lost 2-1 away from home against Napoli, a defeat that hurts a lot for the fans because of the social context of losing versus the south of the country.

La Dea could not respect their home ground and ended up losing 2-1 against Bologna, moving away from the possibility of qualifying for the next Champions League.

Why Bet on Juventus?

Juventus was Inter’s great competitor for the Italian soccer title. However, this team is suffering a crisis of results that practically sentenced it to have as its only objective to qualify for the next Champions League.

Last week the Bianconero lost 2-1 away to Napoli, a painful defeat for the fans since the Neapolitans are their rivals not only in soccer but also in the social context. Massimiliano Allegri’s side have won only one of their last six games, which was against Frosinone. Then they lost the key match with Inter, as well as versus Udinese and now the Neapolitans.

Juve currently has only 57 points, to the leader’s 72. It is a difference that seems practically impossible to recover for this team, which is worried about losing the second position to AC Milan, which has 56 points. The team’s best scorer is Serbian Dusan Vlahovic, who has 15 goals. He has eight goals in the last seven matches, that is, he is a player to follow for the rival.

Juventus has several injured players, including Mattia Perin, Mattia De Sciglio, Weston McKennie, Adrien Rabiot, Federico Chiesa, and Danilo.

Why Bet on Atalanta?

Atalanta was the team with the best run in Italian soccer, but has four games without a win overall, losing in two key games to be able to dream of qualifying for the next Champions League. At home, they succumbed 2-1 to Bologna. Ademola Lookman gave La Dea the lead, but Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson turned the game around at the Gewiss Stadium.

With this defeat, Atalanta dropped to sixth place with 46 points, for the time being in the Conference League, a position that tastes little after having won six games in a row. On the international scene, they are in the round of 16 of the Europa League and drew 1-1 in the first leg against Sporting Lisbon. They are not a very outstanding visitor, scoring 15 points in 13 matches. Moreover, they have conceded more goals (20) than they have scored (18).

A fact to take into account is that the last five times Atalanta visited Juventus, four times they drew, and only once they lost. In all the draws both teams scored.

So far the ‘Dea’ reports no injuries.

Final Betting Analysis: Juventus vs. Atalanta

When these sides met in the first round of the Serie A, they shared points from a 0-0 draw. Juve is unbeaten in four games with one win and three ties.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have Juventus as the favorite. The Moneyline for them shows 2.203, while Atalanta has 3.655, and the draw is at 3.475.

Both teams have been pretty bad as of late, with La Dea rescuing a draw in international competition. A 1-1 draw seems like the most likely result.

Go for a win in Juventus’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 2.203, you will gain $120 for a total payout of $220.
