Why Bet on the Detroit Lions?

The Detroit Lions are the candidates to crown the North Division of the National Conference after surpassing the expectations, thanks to a 9-4 record. In their last game, they defeated the Chicago Bears 31-26, even though quarterback Jared Goff did not have his best night. He attempted 23 of 35 passes, with 236 yards, and assisted for two touchdowns. However, the ball was intercepted three times.

The number of times his passes were crossed in his path is high, considering that a poor opponent like the Bears was in front of him and, above all, because Detroit wants to aspire to go far in the postseason.

So far, Goff has delivered 21 touchdown passes for 3,449 yards. However, he has suffered ten interceptions. In other words, he’s had one pass picked off for every two touchdowns he puts up. Not a bad number, but it could be better.

The Lions have not been outstanding offensively throughout the season. However, they still lead their group, outgaining the Vikings, who are 7-6. Currently listed as injured are C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Frank Ragnow.

Why Bet on the Denver Broncos?

The Denver Broncos are part of an even division, where the leader is Kansas City Chiefs, the current Super Bowl champions who have the best player in the league, Patrick Mahomes. Denver is coming from a convincing 24-7 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in a good night for quarterback Russell Wilson. He completed 21 of 33 passes correctly, assisted for two touchdowns, and had one interception.

Wilson is a 35-year-old veteran who is spending his last cartridges in a team that wants to return to the postseason. This season, the quarterback has 23 touchdown passes, only eight interceptions, and 2,609 yards passing.

Undoubtedly, he is fulfilling his role and needs the rest of his teammates to be at a competitive level to dream of taking first place from the Chiefs. For now, the Broncos are 7-6, the same as the last team getting into the postseason, the Indianapolis Colts.

At this point, Quinn Meinerz and Nick Bonitto are questionable. Greg Dulcich is injured for the rest of the season.

Final Betting Analysis: Lions vs. Broncos

The Detroit Lions are an acceptable home team, while the Broncos have not shown their best face away from home, which is why the victory will go to the leader of the North Division of the American Conference.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have the Lions as favorites. The Moneyline for them shows 1.51, while the Broncos have 2.59.

The last time these teams met, the win went to the Broncos by 38-10.

Go for a win in the Lions’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 1.51, you will gain $51 for a total payout of $151.
