The Pittsburgh Steelers kick off a new NFL regular season in front of their home fans and against a rival that is expected to fight for top honors: Brock Purdy’s San Francisco 49ers.
The Steelers are coming off a 24-0 win over the Atlanta Falcons, with a great performance by quarterback Logan Woodside, who completed 24 of 31 passes and ran for 196 yards.
The 49ers lost in their last prep outing 12-23 to the Los Angeles Chargers, but Purdy looked good physically, completing 73 yards.
