On April 15th, 2022, Bellator goes to the SAP Center, in San Jose, California, USA, and we not only get an exciting title fight as the main event but a World Grand Prix Final as the Co-Main Event.
The main event sees the rematch between undefeated AJ McKee and Patricio “Pitbull” Freire as the fight for the Featherweight title.
The Co-Main sees the final fight in the Heavyweight World Grand Prix, as Vadim Nemkov and Corey Anderson face off to see who will be victorious after an exciting road up to this fight.

McKee is fast and he’s smart.
He’s not one punch-knockout-strong but he’s relentless and throws a barrage of strikes.
If he’s legit, then this is a fight he can win decisively.
Why Bet on Patricio Freire
Freire had only lost once decisively in his career.
He had two split decision losses that could’ve gone either way to Bellator legends Joe Warren and Pat Curran, then he lost to Benson Henderson via an injury.
Before his loss to McKee, the only person to decisively beat Freire was Daniel Straus, who took the featherweight championship from the man many call Pitbull.
Final Betting Analysis: Mckee vs. Pitbull
Freire was relentless during the Featherweight Grand Prix, and it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Freire is still the same man we’ve seen over the last few years.
He may very well be able to withstand McKee’s striking and be able to force his way past his defense and go for the finish.
After all, Freire is powerful, fast, and one of the best counter-fighters in the sport’s history.
McKee may have a light resume compared to Freire but McKee is also the fresher fighter, with younger muscles and less cumulative damage incurred.
That’s why it’s hard to pick against him.
McKee has the speed and intelligence to outfight Freire.
Vadim Nemkov vs. Corey Anderson
Why Bet on Vadim Nemkov
Nemkov has yet to lose in Bellator, as he is currently on a streak of nine straight wins, and is widely regarded as one of the best featherweights in the world regardless of the promotion.
Of those nine victories, he has won seven early, most by knockout.
But do not assume that Vadim is just a very good puncher.
is a good fighter too, when it comes to wrestling he can defend himself, but in his last fight, for example, he won by submissions.
Why Bet on Corey Anderson
Anderson came to Bellator from the UFC, where, for a second, he was ranked number five.
He was an elite fighter back then and seems to have gotten even better here.
In Bellator, Corey had three fights and won all three by TKO.
His first two opponents could be called easy pickings (Manhoef and Yagshimuradov), but in the semi-final, Grand Prix Anderson knocked out not someone, but Ryan Bader in 51 seconds of the fight.
Final Betting Analysis: Vadim Nemkov vs. Corey Anderson
Nemkov’s task is to crush his opponent in the first rounds, and if he cannot finish, to draw all the veins out of him.
If the fight drags on, Corey will be happy.
The championship rounds are his territory.
Anderson has a serious size advantage, which will help him on the counter, but on the ground, he’s capable of laying down, tightening up, and all that.
He won’t be in any hurry, and you can’t take this fight as an easy walk for Nemkov.
Once again, if Vadim doesn’t put Anderson down in the first half of the fight, then anything can happen afterward, and the judges, if it’s more or less even, will count in favor of the American, of course.

Jeremy Kennedy has been forced out of Bellator 277 and Edwards (9-1 MMA, 0-0 BMMA) will step in on short notice to face Aaron Pico.
Edwards is fresh off a first-round submission of Josh Harvey in this past XMMA 4 event.
The All-American wrestler has won seven in a row.
Pico, who just signed a new Bellator deal, went the distance for the first time in his career when he scored a lopsided unanimous decision over Justin Gonzales at Bellator 271.
Before that, the 25-year-old had four straight finishes over Daniel Carey, Chris Hatley, John de Jesus, and Aiden Lee.
It seems like Pico should be more than ready for this fight and he is our betting pick.
Final Betting Analysis: Timothy Johnson vs. Linton Vassell
Vassell decided to move to heavyweight and since moving up, the Englishman has won three straight fights and is currently ranked No. 4 in the Bellator heavyweight rankings.
Vassell now feels the best he’s ever felt and he’s looking to add another win to his unbeaten heavyweight record.
Tim Johnson is trying to pick up the pace coming in from 2 losses in 2021, and he is going to be facing a tough challenge.
