Why Bet on Gennadiy Golovkin

Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (41-1-1, 36 KOs), is one of boxing’s most dominant middleweight of his era

Golovking is set to defend his IBF and IBO world title belts in his competitor’s backyard. There he’ll go head-to-head with two-time WBA middleweight kingpin Ryota Murata (16-2, 13 KOs).

Golovkin has successfully held a world title since 2020.

He is looking to extend his legacy which spans two timelines as he is in the midst of his second reign.

Golovkin won the IBF Middleweight Title in 2019 following a unanimous decision victory over highly-rated opponent Sergiy Derevyanchenko, a four-time title contender.

It was a ferocious fight to the bitter end that wowed fans at Madison Square Garden for a full twelve rounds.

Why Bet on Ryota Murata

The two-time WBA middleweight kingpin Ryota Murata (16-2, 13 KOs) feels comfortable with his home crown in Japan.

Murata, a top-five ranked middleweight, will be returning to action after a long layoff.

His last match was in December 2019, a fifth-round TKO of Steven Butler.

Yet, despite his status as middleweight champion, Murata is stepping up to the elite level for the first time in his career.

The 36-year-old defied his professional losses via knockout after losing by decision to Hassan N’Dam and Rob Brant.

Final Betting Analysis – Gennadiy Golovkin vs. Ryota Murata

Murata will be facing the hardest challenge of his career against a future Hall of Famer and a current champion in a unification bout.

To beat GolovkinMurata needs to take control of the ring and walk him down.

Expect a back-and-forth match with both men vying for control to work their jab. However, our betting pick is placed on Golovkin.

We expect his power to pose a constant threat and will ultimately give him an edge during the fight.
