Wimbledon 2022 – Update

In the world of tennis, there will always be fans who like the glamour of Roland Garros, the excitement of Australia, or the splendor of the US Open. However, the truth is that, as a general rule, everyone who attends the London tournament of Wimbledon falls in love with it. The smell of the grass, the usual strawberries, the tradition that emanates from each of its beautiful facilities; and the history of its courts.

This edition of one of the most important tournaments in the world tennis calendar had several novelties, first of all, the prohibition of the participation of players of Russian nationality, due to the war conflicts that still exist between Russia and Ukraine, which prevented the presence of Medvedev. There was also the novelty that the participants were not assigned points, and that for the first-time matches were scheduled on the first Sunday in the middle of the tournament, which was traditionally used as a rest day.
