Carlos Alberto Rodríguez es un futbol mexicano player who was born on January 3, 1997, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. His nickname in Mexican soccer is Charly and currently plays for Cruz Azúl in the first division, in the midfield position.
“Charly” First Years
Due to his roots, rodriguez began his sports career in the lower categories of Monterrey; a team with which he managed to make his professional debut in 2016, in a match corresponding to the group stage of the Liga de Campeones CONCACAF, contra Don Bosco. Then, he was on a loan for two seasons to Toledo, where he played 30 games and scored 3 goals.
In the 2018-19 season, carlos rodriguez regresa a Monterrey and makes his Liga MX debut in October 2018, in a 2-1 victory for his team against Toluca. Playing games as a starter and others as a substitute, it was not until February 2019, when he debuted with a goal in the first division of Mexican soccer, in Monterrey’s 3-2 victory against Monarca Morelia.

En el Liga de Campeones CONCACAF 2019, Charly managed to prove his worth to the team; as he provided a spectacular flow of play on the field for Monterrey to win the final against Tigres UANL.
Another good participation that Charly has had in his career was in the 2019 Club World Cup cuando Monterrey enfrentado Al-Sadd. Entonces rodriguez managed to score his team’s third goal, which would finally give him victory with a score of 3-2.
