Bragantino vs. Botafogo Betting Odds and Free Pick

Last Updated on November 10, 2023 3:29 pm by Erwin Noguera

As the 34th matchday of the Brasileirão comes our way, we expect to see the match between the current leaders, Botafogo, and the 4th-placed Bragantino.

The leaders have a horrible streak, with four straight losses after a draw in their last 5, which has allowed the other teams to catch up to what looked to be an untouchable club for most of the season.

The Red Bulls are 1 point behind the three teams’ draw at the top of the scoreboard, and they come from a loss in their most recent outing. However, now that they are the hosts this may be the time to shine and take over.

With the momentum Bragantino has, this match could shake up the top of the leaderboards greatly, so let’s dive into what we expect to unfold this Sunday.

When:

Sunday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m. ET in the Nabizão

Moneyline odds:

Botafogo +340

Bragantino -132

Draw Offs:

+275

Why Bet on Bragantino?

Red Bull Bragantino will be looking to improve on their last outing. They come after losing against São Paulo, 1-0.

Their most recent results reveal a lot of solidity in the Red Bulls’ defense, as they have been ‘miserable’ with their rivals, allowing them to pierce their net just four times in the last six games.

Red Bull Bragantino coach Pedro Caixinha has to rule out Lucas Cunha and Eduardo Santos.

Why Bet on Botafogo?

A few weeks back, we would have expected Botafogo to steamroll any team in front of them, but they fell from grace and got caught up in the scoreboards after boasting a remarkable lead over the rest of the Brasileirão.

‘O Fogo’ lost against Grêmio in their last match, 4-3. This is the second time in a row they get a good advantage on the scoreboard and let it go. Diego Costa, Junior Santos, and Marlon Freitas scored in the game, with the locals having five shots on target and 49% possession.

Lúcio Flávio has a significant number of players out of action. Patrick de Paula and Rafael are not able to play.

Betting Analysis: Bragantino vs. Botafogo

Going into this match, Red Bull Bragantino has gone winless against Botafogo in their last three league games.

The issue here is the scoreboard leaders, who come from losing four matches in a row, as they have conceded goals in all six of their last games, with their rivals scoring getting to their net nine times.

Defensively, Botafogo has some weaknesses to improve, but until they do, we don’t expect them to be as feared as their former self this season.

With Bragantino’s Defense getting work done and Botafogo on an incredibly bad streak, we expect a 2-1 score in favor of the locals, who are pushing things to shake up the leaderboards.

If you place $100 on a victory for Bragantino, you could get $75 for a total payout of $175.
