The 34th date of the Brasileirão presents Palmeiras with a key duel in its aspiration to be the king of Brazilian soccer, as it must host Internacional de Porto Alegre.

The ‘Verdão’ suffered a heavy blow when they visited Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro, losing 3-0 after a double from Pedro, but they remain tied at the top of the league.

Inter drew 0-0 at home against Fluminense, the Copa Libertadores champions, and is still in the fight to go to the Copa Sudamericana and evade relegation.

Why Bet on Palmeiras?

Palmeiras still has five games left to achieve what was unthinkable two months ago, to take the title away from Botafogo, which seemed unstoppable and now seems to be very weak in terms of morale.

However, the ‘Verdão’ cannot repeat what they experienced at the Maracana stadium last Wednesday when they lost 3-0 to Flamengo with a brace from Pedro and a goal from Uruguayan midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta.

This setback snapped a five-match winning streak for Abel Ferreira’s side, including an important 4-3 win over Botafogo, which came from 3-0 down.

The São Paulo side has shown itself to be a good home side, winning 11 of 16 matches and losing only three times. Their 13 goals conceded is the third-best home record in the Brasileirão.

Dudu is out for the remainder of the season, while Gabriel Menino has also not played since October 19 due to injury.

Why Bet on Internacional?

There is no doubt that Internacional de Porto Alegre’s season has been a disappointment throughout the year, without being able to win a major title.

In their last match, they tied 0-0 with Fluminense at home, so they are in 11th place with 43 points, 10 away from qualifying for the next Libertadores. For now, they will play in the Copa Sudamericana.

Its current streak is one defeat in the last six matches, with three wins and two draws.

Throughout the Brazilian tournament, they have proven to be an unbalanced team, as they have scored fewer goals (38) than they have conceded (40). Their best scorer has been Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia with six goals, despite his arrival in the middle of the year.

Playing away games, the ‘Colorado’ has not been an outstanding team either, winning four games, drawing five times, and losing seven. They have conceded 20 goals in 16 matches.

Among the team coached by Eduardo ‘El Chacho’ Coudet, two key defensive players, René and Hugo Mallo, are injured.

Final Betting Analysis: Palmeiras vs. Internacional

Internacional have improved in terms of results, but this will not help them against a Palmeiras team on a roll. The ‘Verdão’ will take all three points.

The numbers at MyBookie.ag have Palmeiras as the favorites, with the Moneyline for them showing -166. Meanwhile, Internacional have +430, and the draw is at +285.

The last time these teams played at the home of Palmeiras, the victory was 2-1 for the local team with goals from Gustavo Gómez and Gabriel Menino.

Go for a win in the Palmeiras’ Moneyline. If you bet $100 at -166, you will gain $60 for a total payout of $160.
