Why Bet on Liverpool?

Liverpool is facing a great opportunity to become Premier League champion again, but to do so, they need to be strong at home and beat a rival that gives them a lot of headaches as Brighton.

In the last match, Jürgen Klopp’s team drew 1-1 at Anfield against Manchester City, leaving them in second place with 64 points, the same as Arsenal while the Gunners have a goal difference of +46 against Liverpool’s +39.

Although the Reds are out of the FA Cup, the season objective is in the Premier League, and considering that Arsenal will visit Manchester City, this matchday looks like an opportunity to retake the top spot.

They have the second-best defense in the league with 26 goals conceded and the second-best offense with 65 goals.

After leaving injury behind, Mohamed Salah returned to competition with the club and aims to retake the fight for the Golden Boot. He is currently in third place with 15 goals, behind Ollie Watkins (16), and Erling Haaland (18).

The bad news for Klopp is that Andy Robertson was injured on the FIFA date, and Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Thiago remain unavailable to see action. On the other hand, Darwin Nunez and Ryan Gravenberch have recovered and could be of use.

Why Bet on Brighton?

Brighton has not been at the same level as the past season, as it’s in eighth position with 42 points. If they were to finish the Premier League now, they would not be able to compete in Europe next year.

Their last game ended in a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest, thanks to an own goal by Andrew Omobamidele. But that was in the league because in the Europa League, although they beat Roma 1-0, they were eliminated with a 4-1 aggregate score.

The Seagulls are a team with aesthetic soccer and remarkable players, especially the Brazilian Joao Pedro and the Japanese Kaoru Mitoma, but they have missed the last few games due to injuries.

The problem for Brighton, and the reason they are not higher up, is in the defense, which has allowed 44 goals, a very high amount for a team that wants to aim higher. Their away form has not been outstanding either, as they have 15 points from 14 games. They have only won four times in this condition.

But this club has four unbeaten games with Liverpool, and at Anfield, they have not known defeat since 2019, winning one duel and drawing two.

In addition to Mitoma and Pedro, midfielders Jack Hinshelwood, James Milner, and Solly March are injured.

Final Betting Analysis: Liverpool vs. Brighton

This season, these teams have already met, and the final result was 2-2 with Brighton playing at home, while the last time at Anfield was in October 2022, and it was also a draw, 3-3, and featuring a brace from Roberto Firmino alongside a hat-trick from Leandro Trossard.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have Liverpool as the favorite. Their Moneyline shows 1.418, while Brighton has 7.4, and the draw is at 5.7

Liverpool’s matches with Brighton are usually complicated, and in recent times, Jürgen Klopp’s team has not fared well. However, this season the Reds are in for great things and will take the victory by 3-1.

Go for a win in Liverpool’s Moneyline. If you bet $100 at 1.418, you will gain $41 for a total payout of $141.
