A revenge-game win at home would be the perfect proof of concept for the new regime; a loss to his former team would make it a long week in Nashville.

The market has seen enough: Tennessee opens as a home underdog again, priced at +250 on the moneyline against Philadelphia’s -310, with the Eagles laying 7 points on the road and the total sitting at just 39.5 to 40.5. The revenge game went the wrong way in Week 1, with the Jets taking one on the road in Saleh’s opener against his former club, and now the Titans get a Philadelphia side that handled Washington to open 1-0.
Two straight sub-41 totals tell you exactly how the league sees this offense: the market does not think Tennessee can score, and it has not been given a reason to. Cam Ward has to show something here, because a 0-2 start with the schedule ahead turns a rebuilding year into a lost one quickly.

Tennessee stay on the road as underdogs, priced at +205 on the moneyline against New York’s -250, taking 5.5 points with the total set at 43.5. The Titans are 0-2 but lost their best game of the season in the process, falling 24-20 to Philadelphia after Jalen Hurts needed a nine-play, 65-yard drive in the closing seconds to win it with a touchdown pass to Darius Cooper. The Giants opened with a 28-20 win over Dallas in John Harbaugh’s first game in charge and visit the Rams on Monday night, so their record is still incomplete as these lines go up.
The most interesting number here is the total. Tennessee opened the season with back-to-back marks under 41, and we said the market had decided this offense could not score. It has now been moved to 43.5; the Titans put up 20 on Philadelphia and covered comfortably, and the books have responded. Cam Ward still has nothing in the win column and the schedule is not getting kinder, but 5.5 points is a smaller ask than either of the first two weeks, and this is the first time all season Tennessee have been priced like a competent football team. Watch the Rams game before committing: a Giants result on Monday night will move this line in one direction or the other.
