The Brasileirão continues in full swing, and in the blink of an eye, we have enjoyed three exceptional matchdays that, without a doubt, left us with many emotions from start to finish.

For now, we have Bragantino and Flamengo dominating the standings after two wins and one draw in their first three games. In addition, they are the only teams that remain undefeated.

We begin this summary with the match between Bragantino and Corinthians, which ended with a close score of 1-0 in favor of Bragantino.

Atlético Mineiro gave Cruzeiro a thrashing at home in a match in which only 45 minutes were enough to put final figures, as they achieved a crushing 3-0 victory, all before the end of the first half.

It all started with a give and take between the two teams, which Atlético Mineiro took advantage of in minute 25′ to score the first goal through Matías Zaracho. Then, 10 minutes later, Paulinho put on his hero’s jersey to put the team 2-0 ahead with a great goal.

One of the most anticipated matches of Matchday 3, Palmeiras vs. Flamengo, ended in a dull goalless draw. In this match, the defenses were the main protagonists, especially Flamengo’s, which limited Palmeiras to only one shot on goal.

In the first half, the Verdão tried to take advantage of their home condition to make a breakthrough and force a mistake in the Fla’s defense to score their first goal. However, their advances were not ideal and failed to generate much danger. On the other hand, Flamengo did have a few more clear chances to score, but, like Palmeiras, they lacked the determination and certainty in their attack to score the goal that would lead them to victory.

Finally, the most exciting and entertaining match of the third matchday of the Brasileirão was between Botafogo and Juventude. The Fogão could take advantage of its home status and, above all, its status as favorite in this match to take a resounding 5-1 victory over Juventude.

It all started with Botafogo attacking from the opening whistle, and in the 4th minute, they managed to score 1-0 thanks to a great goal by Júnior Santos. Their siege continued, and in minute 9′, they managed to generate a penalty later converted into a goal by Tiquinho Soares.

With 2-0 on the scoreboard, Botafogo went to the break with a comfortable lead and, above all, with great confidence to face the second half.

Then, in minute 53′, Danilo Barbosa managed to score the 3-0 that, at that moment, left Juventude in check. However, this would not end there, as the Venezuelan Jefferson Savarino scored the 4-0 in minute 61′ and Jacob Montes crowned the 5-0 in minute 80′.

Finally, Danilo Boza made up the score for Juventude with a goal in the 85th minute.
