The 2023/24 Premier League season is exciting, as we have an extraordinary fight in all areas of the standings.
After the end of matchday 15, played in midweek, we have that Arsenal is the absolute leader of the standings with 2 points of difference concerning its main pursuer, Liverpool. On the other hand, Aston Villa continues with an excellent pace of play, and their most recent victory over Manchester City by 1-0 proves it.
Speaking of City, we have that, for the first time in many years, Pep Guardiola’s team has not won in 4 consecutive Premier League matches. Their usual midseason crisis came sooner than usual. However, although December and January tend to be difficult months for them before their final push to take the title, this time, the team seems more fragile than ever, giving hope to other clubs.

The match that opened the curtain of matchday 15 between Arsenal and Luton Town was extraordinary in every way, as, in addition to many emotions, we had a rain of goals.
This game started with a great goal by Gabriel Martinelli to give Arsenal a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute. However, 5 minutes later, Luton equalized thanks to a goal by Gabriel Osho. Then, before the end of the first half, Gabriel Jesus scored to make it 2-1 for Arsenal, and the Gunners went into the break with the lead.
At the start of the second half, Luton surprised Arsenal in every way, as Elijah Adebajo (’49) and Ross Barkley (’57) turned the score 3-2 with two excellent goals. However, in the 60th minute, Kai Havertz equalized 3-3. Finally, when we all thought there would be a share of the points, Declan Rice scored the winning goal for Arsenal in the 90+7th minute.

The most predictable match of the day was between Liverpool and Sheffield United, which ended with a comfortable 2-0 victory for Jurgen Klöpp’s side.
As expected, the Reds were infinitely superior in every way. However, the home defense and the ineffectiveness of Liverpool’s forwards kept the score down.
Virgil van Dijk scored the first goal in the 37th minute, while Dominik Szoboszlai made it 2-0 in the 90+4th minute.
They now continue their chase of Arsenal at the top of the table.

Aston Villa continues to surprise everyone in this 2023/24 Premier League season, and this time, they got an excellent victory at home against Manchester City by 1-0.
The table was set for a duel of titans, as both teams were fighting at the top. However, no one expected Manchester City to have such a disappointing offense in this important match, as they only had two shots on goal and two scoring chances created during the 90 minutes.
On the contrary, Aston Villa completely overwhelmed the Citizens, as they generated 22 clear scoring chances and had seven shots on goal.
In the end, Aston Villa climbed to third place in the table thanks to Leon Bailey’s goal in the 71st minute to lead his team to a 1-0 victory.

Finally, one of the most important rivalries in the Premier League, Manchester United vs. Chelsea, ended with a 2-1 victory for the Red Devils. There is no doubt that this match was the most intense of the day, as both teams gave their all on the pitch to take the three points.
It all started with Scott McTominay’s first goal of the night in the 19th minute, prompting the Red Devils to attack against the Blues at the legendary Old Trafford. However, thanks to Cole Palmer’s goal, Chelsea managed to equalize before the break (45′).
In the second half, United came out all guns blazing for victory, generating many clear goal-scoring chances. However, it was not until the 69th minute when McTominay scored his second goal of the night to give the Red Devils a 2-1 victory.
