Atlético de Madrid joined the group of teams that have already qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League after beating Feyenoord in the Netherlands.
The penultimate day of the top European tournament is defining the zones, and that victory for the ‘Colchonero’ also gave Lazio the spot.
Another team that entered the round of the 16 best is Borussia Dortmund, which left AC Milan close to elimination. PSG failed at home against Newcastle and left a place to define in the group of death.
Finally, Sevilla starred in a great failure, losing at home in an incredible match with PSV and being eliminated from European competition.

Atlético Madrid got the three points it needed by beating Feyenoord 1-3 and is in the next round of the Champions League with 11 points.
Diego Simeone’s men had some luck, as the opening of the scoring came with an own goal by Lutsharel Geertruida in the 14th minute when the ball hit his thigh and went into the net. At 57′ Mario Hermoso made a volley that beat the rival goalkeeper, and the score was closed at 81′ with another own goal from Santiago Giménez. Mats Wieffer scored for the Dutch (77′).
‘Aleti’ will now close the group stage by hosting the other qualified team in the area. If Simeone’s men win or draw, they secure first place.

Borussia Dortmund achieved its third victory in a row, this time beating AC Milan 3-1 at San Siro, and is the only one classified in the group of death since it reached 10 points.
At 10 minutes, Marco Reus scored the first from a penalty after Gregor Kobel saved Olivier Giroud’s penalty. Although Samuel Chukwueze equalized at 37′ with a cross-shot from almost no angle, the Germans took the three points with a bright collective action that ended with a pass into the net by Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (59′).
