The Chiefs are looking to bounce back after a stunning 6-11 finish in 2025, the worst season of the Mahomes-Reid era, which ended with Patrick Mahomes tearing his ACL and LCL in a Week 15 loss to the Chargers and Kansas City missing the playoffs for the first time in a decade. Head coach Andy Reid brought back Eric Bieniemy as offensive coordinator and added running back Kenneth Walker III, Seattle’s Super Bowl LX MVP, in free agency to help jump-start an offense that stalled out without its franchise quarterback.
